We say hello and a warm welcome to Simon Andersson – a new colleague who already from the start feels like a natural part of the team!

But who is Simon, really?
– I originally come from Åmål. Before I started studying, I worked for a while in Norway, and then I moved to Karlstad for university studies. I've stayed here and I really love it.

Simon describes himself as a social person who thrives when there's a bit of pace and variety in everyday life.
– I like when things happen and when the days look different, he says.

One foot in tech – and one in business 💼

Before Simon stepped into Motillo, he had gathered broad experience.
– I've worked with development, both as a consultant and at product companies. But I've also had roles closer to the business side, as an account manager and salesperson in e-commerce. That has meant a lot of customer contact – both helping them move forward in their projects and finding new collaborations.
Prospecting and new customer acquisition is something I genuinely enjoy, Simon shares.

Looking ahead 🚀

So what is it that appeals most about the new role as salesperson with us?
– I'm really excited to be part of Motillo's continued journey, which feels very exciting, says Simon. And I look forward to working with new customers and helping them take the next step in their e-commerce.

He particularly highlights the interplay between technology and customer relationships.
– Being able to contribute with the right solutions while also being a great support along the way – that feels very motivating.

A key player going forward

We have high ambitions for how Motillo will develop in the coming years, and Simon now taking over responsibility for our sales is an important step in that plan. It's going to be very exciting to see how we can take ourselves to the next level!

Life outside of work 🌍

When the workday is over, there are other things that appeal.
– I like to travel, preferably together with my partner. I also work out quite a bit and enjoy cooking. Enduro is a big interest that I unfortunately don't have as much time for anymore, but it's really fun!

Word has it that you enjoy other sports too, especially football.
– Yes, there's quite a lot of watching sport – I (almost) never miss an Arsenal match.
