Digital growth differs between B2B and B2C

Driving growth in both B2B and B2C is partly about goal-setting and structure. It is also about having ideas, combined with experience from the past. Finally, it is about understanding the difference between what works well in B2C and what is required to drive growth in B2B.

We have gathered all our experience around this into a number of different services.

Digital marketing needs to fit together

Digital marketing consists of many different parts, from technology to strategy, content production, measurement and follow-up. And on top of this: marketing across several different channels. Often this is done by several different agencies, each focusing on its own part. Nobody owns the bigger picture.

This was the background to why we developed our own offering around digital growth, primarily to provide it to our existing customers. Today we work continuously with digital, advertising and conversion optimization for a wide range of customers, and our offering consists of the following areas.

Digital marketing needs to fit together

Driving digital growth in B2B

For e-commerce businesses that sell directly to consumers, it is often a given to invest continuously in activities that drive sales. For wholesalers and manufacturers operating in B2B, the situation is very different. A large majority of sales come from existing customers and contracts, and combined with the fact that acquiring new customers is often handled by salespeople, digital marketing has sometimes been almost hidden away.

That said, we are seeing a clear shift, where even traditional B2B companies are now seeing clear results in terms of what digital marketing can deliver.

But one thing is certain. It is not the same as marketing consumer products.
