Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-01

We at Motillo care about your personal privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect the personal data you provide to us when you fill in a contact form on motillo.com. The policy is based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data protection legislation.

Data controller

Motillo AB, company registration number 556907-4957, is the data controller for the processing of your personal data. You can reach us at:

Motillo AB Stapelgatan 2 652 16 Karlstad Email: info@motillo.se

What data we collect

When you fill in a contact form on our website, we collect the data you choose to provide. This usually consists of your name, email address, phone number, company and the message or question you send to us. We do not collect more data than is needed to handle your enquiry.

Why we process the data and on what legal basis

We process your data in order to respond to your enquiry, give you the information you request and, where necessary, follow up on our contact. The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest in being able to answer and handle the enquiries that come in via the website. If your enquiry leads to a business relationship, the processing may instead be based on performing or preparing a contract with you.

How long we keep the data

We keep your data for as long as is necessary to handle your enquiry and any subsequent dialogue. Enquiries that do not lead to any continued contact are deleted no later than 12 months after the matter has been closed. Data that becomes part of a customer or supplier relationship is kept for as long as the relationship lasts, and thereafter for as long as we are required to keep it under, for example, the Swedish Bookkeeping Act.

Who we share the data with

Your data is processed by us at Motillo and by the suppliers who help us run the website and manage our communication, for example our platform and web hosting provider as well as our system for email and customer management. These suppliers process the data on our behalf as data processors and may not use it for their own purposes. We never sell your personal data on to third parties.

Transfer to third countries

Some of our suppliers may process data in countries outside the EU and EEA. When this happens, we ensure that the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, for example the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to request a copy of the data we process about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request that we delete your data, to request that the processing be restricted, to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest, and, under certain conditions, to receive your data in a machine-readable format (data portability).

To exercise any of your rights, contact us at [email address].

Complaints

If you consider that we are processing your personal data incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), which is the supervisory authority for personal data processing in Sweden.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy. The latest version is always published on motillo.com, and we indicate at the top of the document when the policy was last changed.

Contact

If you have questions about how we process your personal data, you are welcome to contact us at info@motillo.se."

A couple of notes: the "Your rights" section still has the placeholder [email address] where the Swedish original had [e-postadress], so you may want to fill that in (likely info@motillo.se to match the rest). I kept the headings bold for readability, but I can give you a clean version with no formatting if that suits the site better.
