New face at Motillo - we welcome Lisa Edlund!

Lisa Edlund recently moved back to Karlstad with her family after several years abroad. On Tuesday she had her first day at Motillo and we took the opportunity to have a chat with the latest addition.

Hey Lisa! Who are you?

– I'm a 32-year-old originally from Hammarö. For the past six years we've been living in Davos, Switzerland, as my partner Magnus played ice hockey there, but now we're back in Råtorp! We have two daughters named Vera and Alva who are 5 and 3 years old respectively. I have a degree in economics but realised fairly early on that I wanted to move more towards marketing, so in my last period in Davos I trained as a communications specialist by distance learning.

What made you curious about Motillo?

– I actually applied for a job here a year ago and was part of the process, but that particular position wasn't filled due to other needs at Motillo. I got a really good feeling about the company then and haven't quite been able to let it go. When we were about to move home from Switzerland I reached out to Jonas and the rest is history!

What will you be working on with us?

– I'll mainly be working closely with clients on further development but also on some training. I love working with people and get energy from others, so this is going to be great fun!

What are you most looking forward to about working here?

– Being part of this wonderful team and joining the exciting journey we have ahead of us! I love learning new things and for that Motillo feels like exactly the right company to work at.

What do you do in your spare time then?

– In Switzerland I skied a lot — Davos is a ski resort so we were really spoiled with fantastic skiing. Of course I enjoy spending time with the family, travelling and discovering new things together. I also love starting projects at home, which my partner may not always be equally enthusiastic about. It can be anything from trying new recipes to fixing up the house. I also try to make time for exercise and running — I feel great afterwards even if I don't exactly love it while I'm doing it.
