Lina Johansson
Specialist Paid Social & SEM

We have previously announced that Cristoffer Gustafsson started his full-time employment after the summer, and now it's time to introduce two more brand-new team members!
As Ida and Tobias join the team, the office dog count also grows by two pups, to the delight of many. 🐕🐩 Here you can learn a little more about them (and their dogs):
Tobias
Who are you?
– My name is Tobias Nordwall, I'm 39 years old and grew up in the small community of Persberg outside Filipstad. For the past ten years I've been living in Herrhagen in Karlstad. After a long time in the sports betting industry, I felt a need to do something more creative. I started studying web development at the University West and realised I wanted to deepen my knowledge further in the field.
What did you work with before?
– Even though I originally trained as an emergency and ambulance care worker, my professional life took a different turn. Instead, I worked for about ten years in the sports betting industry. I had various roles, including as a researcher for a large British company and setting odds. If someone needs emergency medical care I'm probably not the right person to turn to, but if it's about, say, Varberg's starting eleven in autumn 2016, I can help! Most recently I studied systems development in Java and JavaScript at a vocational higher education programme.
How did you come into contact with / hear about Motillo?
– When I finished my studies I contacted an acquaintance of a relative to get recommendations about good workplaces in Karlstad. Motillo was actually at the top of that list.
What are you looking forward to here?
– I'm looking forward to continuing to develop my skills in both frontend and backend development. Having worked remotely for ten years and spent three years studying, I'm especially looking forward to getting to know my new colleagues and having a physical workplace to go to.
What do you do in your spare time?
– In my spare time I enjoy travelling and spending time with friends and family. I also like being out in nature and doing activities like kayaking, often together with my girlfriend Emelie and our Tibetan Spaniel Penny. I also spend some time in front of the TV following football, with Degerfors and Tottenham as my favourite teams. I can also admit that I have a weakness for red wine and Gin & Tonic.
Ida
Who are you?
– My name is Ida Glenne, I'm 28 years old and recently moved back to Karlstad from Uppsala. I grew up in Lorensberg here in town but over the past ten years I've lived for a while in Oslo, Gothenburg, and most recently Uppsala where I stayed for six years. The longing for my home city has made itself felt in recent years, so now I live in a terraced house on Edsgatan with my little family consisting of my partner Anton and our dachshund Otto.
What did you work with before?
– For the past three years I worked as a developer at SEB in Stockholm in a small team that developed web applications within savings and investments. Before that I studied information systems at Uppsala University.
How did you come into contact with / hear about Motillo?
– I asked a friend who studies web design if she had heard of any IT companies in Karlstad that seemed good. She had come into contact with Motillo through, among other things, a workshop in Figma and thought it seemed like a company with a great culture. And that's how it happened.
What are you looking forward to here?
– I'm really looking forward to the variety of being able to work on different projects and client assignments. It will also be fun to work at a slightly smaller company with everything that entails. It will be much easier to get to know everyone you work with, which I think will be very different from my previous experiences at a large bank.
What do you do in your spare time?
– I spend a lot of time in the forest in the company of Otto and Anton. I also have a great interest in food and wine, and when I have spare time I usually go running, read, or knit. I also enjoy gardening and hope to do more of that now that I've moved to a terraced house.
